The Tamoil Group seeks to make profits, acting responsibly and contributing services to, and enhancing the wealth of, the societies in which it operates. While conducting its operations, the Tamoil Group seeks to achieve a better quality of life for all.

The Tamoil Group believes that there are three inextricably linked principles in achieving its overall goals - business development, care for the environment and social engagement. Tamoil Group companies contribute to all three in the following ways:

• Business Development
  
  The Tamoil Group is a commercial enterprise who seeks to provide essential energy products to help create wealth and contribute to society.
  
  The Group’s core aim in business development is to make available affordable, convenient and safe energy products to the widest possible number of people and companies.
  
  
• Care for the Environment
  
  Tamoil Group companies carry on all their operations with environmental considerations in mind and are constantly examining how to improve their environmental performance. Each Group company does so in the context of its own ecological, social and economic conditions. Oilinvest (Netherlands) B.V., a subsidiary of Oilinvest (Holdings) N.V., the Tamoil Group’s parent company, provides a framework within which Tamoil Group companies can learn from the best practices of one another.  The aim is the achievement of ever greater levels of care for the environment by individual members of the Group and by the Tamoil Group as a whole.
  
  
• Social Engagement
  
  Tamoil Group companies are major long-term investors in the countries in which they operate, providing direct and indirect employment, business opportunities, and tax revenues.
  
  They believe in the need to be active members of the communities in which they operate, through support for human development, both within the Group’s companies (for example, by providing training and other skills development programmes for staff) and outside them (for example, by sponsoring social and sporting events).
