Like any large organisation, Tamoil participates in a number of social events. 

International Petroleum Week

The 2008 International Petroleum Week, a highlight of the oil and gas events calendar, took place in London from 18th to 21st February 2008.

Considered as the international forum for oil industry professionals,  International Petroleum Week offers debates, instruction and discussions at the conference and seminar sessions organised by the Energy Institute. 

The 2008 programme examined how national and international oil companies are facing the challenges of investment in new technologies with the accompanying need for the development of skills and new infrastructure through innovation and collaboration. Other topics, such as biofuels, energy prices, LNG and safety, were also explored. 

After seventeen years, the Tamoil cocktail party continues to be one of the highlights of the International Petroleum Week. The 2008 party took place at the Four Seasons hotel on 20th February. In addition to the Tamoil Group representatives who were present, more than 350 guests attended and enjoyed the reception.
