Shipping

Shipping is a key element in an integrated company such as Tamoil not only because Tamoil’s refineries require a continuous flow of supplies to function efficiently but also due to the fact that shipping costs form an integral part of the overall costs incurred by Tamoil in trading and supplying  raw materials and products.

Tamoil initially undertook shipping activities to supply its first refinery in Italy. Today Tamoil’s shipping activities have not only been expanded to supply Tamoil’s three refineries but also to enable Tamoil to trade in crude oil, refined products, petrochemicals and lubricants.

Tamoil has approximately 20 vessels on the water in any given month loading and discharging crude oil, refined products, petrochemicals and lubricants.
